I am pleased to share extensive insight into the problems, possibilities, and potential we humans possess, given the privilege of having maintained a decades-long Relational psychoanalytic private practice in Manhattan’s East Village, from which I retired in late 2022.
Teaching, developing and leading workshops, and supervising other therapists had been an invaluable mainstay of my career. I enjoy the opportunity to bring teaching into my work as a Life Coach and Creativity Mentor.
Writing, too, was part of my practice. Several of my professional papers were published and presented at conferences within New York City as well as internationally (Budapest, Hungary, 2012).
I also wrote poetry through these years. As a poet and author, I value my own mentorship with the late Colette Inez. Affiliating with the Walt Whitman Birthplace Association, I also helped create the “Poets to Come” Scholarship Award as a way to support the professional development of younger poets.
As a sole proprietor and one who has worked extensively with other self-employed individuals, managers, and entrepreneurs, I am also versed in business relations and development, interested in facilitating leadership and increased effectiveness in communication with others.
I am happy to bring this range of experience and training to WordPaint® Coaching and Mentoring sessions, and to further my work with those wishing to build lives in line with their visions and dreams, as well as with writers, artists, and other creators wishing to connect more to their process and pursuits.
